New six-barrel brewery installed in 2008, located in a beautifully restored barn on a National Trust estate, trading as Willoughby Brewing Company. It was taken over in 2011 by Brew ON CIC, a new Social Enterprise Company set up by Nick Comley. Nick plans to create a range of bottle-conditioned ales, ciders and soft drinks from locally-sourced ingredients that will be available at all National Trust properties in Herefordshire, as well as in shops and restaurants.
The Brew On Social Enterprise Brewery will provide training and employment opportunities for people experiencing disadvantage through disability or social exclusion. It is in Herefordshire in spite of the Worcester postal address
The Brewery was launched on June 5th 2011, but no date is yet set for commencement of brewing due to electrical supply problems, and the beer range is yet to be determined
